CSI Division 26 · Electrical
Electrical takeoff and estimating
Service, rough-in, devices, fixtures, and final trim. Cloer measures the plan once and derives electrical quantities from it, priced against the rates in your own price book.
What gets priced automatically
Each line derives its quantity from the takeoff. The rates below are starting defaults — every one of them is editable in your price book, and yours is what actually gets used.
| Line item | Unit | Quantity comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical rough-in | sq ft | Floor area |
| Devices — outlets & switches | each | Room count × 7 |
| Recessed & ceiling lighting | each | Room count × 4 |
| Smoke & CO detectors | each | Room count × 0.8 |
Available, but never added on its own
These sit in the price book so you can add them deliberately. Nothing here auto-prices — a line you didn't ask for is worse than a line you have to add.

Same plan, every trade you carry
Measure once
Upload the drawing and Cloer measures areas, perimeters, and openings. Electrical quantities derive from those same measurements.
Price from your rates
Your price book drives every line. Change a rate and the estimate, proposal, and every downstream document follow.
Send the paperwork
Proposal, change order, invoice — and on Crew, purchase orders, sub scope sheets, and material lists.
